Optelligence Services: Organic Optimisation

Our full service organic search engine optimisation packages ensure maximum visibility within algorithmic search engines and directories. Although not nearly as flexible and predictable as PPC advertising, organic optimisation has an important role to play. Like PR, traffic from organic listings is essentially 'free' and hence very attractive - executed correctly organic optimisation can help significantly reduce customer acquisition costs and ensure long term brand visibility. Furthermore, we pride ourselves on the transparency of our organic services, giving all clients access to our Extranet - where they can track and analyse all activity down to the finest detail.

The following is a description of the work involved in a typical organic optimisation campaign:

Web Site Design Analysis

From the pre-campaign phase we already understand your business and your campaign objectives. Organic SEO also depends to a great extent on your web site. It may be that you have hired us just as you are building a new site. Alternatively you may be looking to "optimise" your current web presence. Therefore your website, and how much flexibility you have with it, are the main factors which will influence the work we do for you. Optelligence will evaluate web design issues in need of improvement or correction, and then write an assessment document that identifies any specific issues.

Content and Meta Revisions

This is the process of adding keyword and keyword phrase rich text into the specific areas of a Web site's content and HTML code that are considered in determining the website's ranking by spider-based search engines. We will recommend changes to site copy and tags etc based on the keywords and phrases agreed in the campaign planning phase. Areas of your site where we make suggestions are:

Optelligence continually monitors the search engines for the importance they place on the above factors, and makes the necessary recommendations when changes occur.

Engine Submission

Once your site has been optimised, it needs the search engine crawlers to come and do their work. We will submit a Submission Plan document stating the availability of free placement engines and directories and the costs for fee based engines and directories. Along with the Submission Plan, we'll provide detailed recommendations for an appropriate submission process, and with your approval our consultants will perform manual submissions to each directory and search engine. In addition, Optelligence will follow-up with each directory to ensure that your Web site is listed in the maximum number of categorical listings allowed by each directory. This is a continuous effort.

Pilot Linking Research and Analysis

As part of your Search Engine Marketing campaign, Optelligence will provide a preliminary list of potential linking partners. This list is created by a combination of Optelligence's linking strategy technology and analysis of competition through the major search engines and directories. Based on the number of potential links and the nature of your industry, we will then determine the most beneficial opportunities to solicit a link request to as part of your monthly linking services. We will make contact, and follow up.

Campaign Monitoring:

Every month we will run the SPS (Search Position Score) to determine your overall campaign visibility - this will show your organic and paid-for visibility broken down by keyword and search engine. We also run log file analysis to see where your campaign has been most effective in creating this visibility.

In addition to this you will receive in-depth monthly reports with the purpose of keeping your organic web presence optimised. This report will include further recommendations on keyword consulting, site design consulting, competitive analysis, copy optimisation, submission monitoring and linking development.
